Jon Boat Fishing Instruction (March - December)
Fishing from a jon boat allows easy movement around the flatwaters of the James River. This area is famous for flathead catfish but also holds an impressive population of sunfish and catfish. On the 5-hour trip you can choose to fish for both. On the 3-hour Fishing Instruction, you can fish for either sunfish or catfish. Either way, you will fully enjoy the fishing within RVA's city limits.
The non-tidal James is an incredible ecosystem home to an amazing amount of history and wildlife. You'll enojoy this instruction from the safety of a 14-foot jon boat boat. This trip is excellent for two. This educational trip is offered March through November.
3-hour Jon Boat Fishing Instruction: $250
5-hour Jon Boat Fishing Instruction: $395
Price is for one or two people fishing.
All tackle, gear, life preservers and bottled water provided.
Fishing license not included.
